BIOGRAPHY
Goldie Wilson is a brand new project, formed out a mutual interest in blending early rock n' roll influences with a modern twist. Goldie's sound is rooted in Mike and Rose's dual vocal harmonies that evoke groups such as the Everly Brothers and the Turtles. Mike's aggressive guitar attack, Matt's thunderous bass and Yasu's variety of keyboard textures create a very full and nuanced sound. Goldie employs the use of programmed drums in addition to their live drummer to further fill-out a sound that can quickly jump from 50's doo-wop to 60's garage to shimmering vintage pop.
