BIOGRAPHY
DJ RICHARD EVERHARD of Tantric House Coalition
Noboby loves the positive healing sound of House like DJ Richard Everhard (Andre' Duckworth), founder of Tantric House Coalition. His life changed forever when a college girlfriend took him to Chicago’s famous “Warehouse” in the summer of 1989. He was hooked. Originally from Bassfield Mississippi, He learned to spin Funk and Soul records in his teens from his father DJ Sweet T, Tommy Dukes, a local Funk DJ that toured the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the mid to late 70’s. The New Orleans Soul Radio Station, WAIL 105 FM, was also instrumental in his musical development. His style of House is soulful, vocal with a splash of latin, french, african and brazillian influence, geared toward sounds of love, peace, and appreciation of all. He also tends to play inspirational House tracks that have universal appeal placing the emphasis on self awareness, unity and love which is the overall message and intent of Tantric House Coalition. His sound healing background is what drives him to play the harmonic forms of healing that comes from his decks. The sounds you’ll hear will move you in a positive direction…only if you and your audience want to be taken there. Currently a resident of SoulShift Wednesdays (Havana Social Club) he has played other local Seattle venues such as Electric Tea Garden, See Sound Lounge, Last Supper Club, Trinity Night Club, Contour, and Buddha Bar.
