Diamond Dust's 2011/2012 North American Tour: 2 Countries; 7 Provinces; 8 States; 112 Cities and "more fans then we could count and we are having the time of our lives".
Diamond Dust is performing on this tour in a singer/songwriter format, with Jo doing the vocals and Riffer playing electric and acoustic guitar in support of the band's self titled debut album, 'Diamond Dust' which is a full-on rock production.
Diamond Dust is a Modern Retro Rock band with a slight taste of country and also blues.
The US tour has had many highlights including playing SXSW in Austin; the rock palace of venue's in Texas at the Deadhorse in San Angelo, TX; the Whisky-A-Go-Go in Los Angeles; and performing at the TRiP in LA at which one of their songs, 'Push It' was chosen to a 14 song compilation that is being produced and sold to celebrate the event.

Diamond Dust formed in 2007 as a collaboration between songwriter Josée-Anne (Jo) St-Onge and guitar player Craig (Riffer) Hare. The duo started off playing live shows in Eastern Canada and quickly accumulated a rich catalogue of original songs.
They relocated to Vancouver in 2008 with the goal of creating their first studio album. Opting for a self-production, they spared no time or effort in finding the perfect rhythm section and engineers in the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver to make their vision come to life.
With some of the best talent and facilities in town at work, it became apparent and thrilling for all involved to see the musical landscape take shape into a raw and honest depiction of the tempestuous journey rock n' roll has endured and where it is at today.
The group has taken flight with their first single “Summertime”, a cheerful anthem to Summer and to life's precious, fun, yet ephemeral moments. Diamond Dust's first single which offers a porch-rock, blues laced attitude.

Never shying away from true expression and breaking down the barriers of genre, Diamond Dust is certainly setting the bar at new heights. Their first effort, which is self-titled, leaves you shocked, inspired and wanting more.
Deemed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's National Music Director as "a very impressive debut. Diamond Dust's refreshing, yet familiar take on rock n roll has been described as groovy, catchy, blistering - full-bore rock, and lively, foot-stomping folk".
