BIOGRAPHY
The Past Impending formed in the summer of 2010 in a practice space in Georgetown, Seattle. This is where they found their inspiration, drawing on the old world surroundings and attitude of this often forgotten Seattle neighborhood. When listening to the lyrics you can feel their passion for the romanticism of the past and find beauty in the things that represent it. Just like Georgetown the songs are reminiscent of a lost era. They hold tight to folk rhythms for the most part, but seem to evolve rather than adhere to a set song structure. However, the best part has to be that It will get you out of your seat and on your feet to dance!
