BIOGRAPHY
It all started one blustery day in November, 2010 in the ever so majestic Seattle, Washington. Adam Drew was sitting in front of his keyboard, piecing together songs for his current electronic project. Alas, no longer could he continue down the long, sappy road of heart-strewn oblivion he’d been traveling for the past few years. It was time to tell a story… Not just any story… and he couldn't ...do it alone! He called upon his rapper friend Tim Stiles (yes, that is his real name) to help develop the plot. They began sending e-mails back and forth and meeting up over the occasional boilermaker to discuss themes, lyrics, and beat ideas. Accounts of love gone wrong? Sob stories about the lowest of lows and hardest of times? No!!! They decided they were going to take their twisted American minds and create a land where nothing is taboo and nothing is considered bad taste. Was it "Passionate?" Most undoubtedly not! Was it a “Party!?” Well, these mid-thirty something’s hardly ever get invited to those, so how would they know!? THEY WOULDN’T! Therefore, the nonsensical name for the group "Passion Party" was born (plus it has “ass” in it). This project was going to be honest, mythical and, well… kinda perverted.
A little over a year later, after a handful of adult beverages, and a performance here and there, Passion Party has unleashed “The Unihorn EP.” Songs like, “Poor & Sexy” where it’s all about honesty, being wealthy ain’t the key to true romance, and sometimes sharing a KFC Double-down can be downright magical. “Mantis,” about a stressed out, stay at home dad cursing the gods for not blessing him with the ability to garnish milk from his teats to supply nourishment for baby. “The Unihorn,” where one man finds a way to take the love of a unicorn to an all-new level of sexual seduction. “I Like You to Death” where sometimes you don’t end up loving the girl you are dating, but you don’t really mind her company either. What to do?! Give her the, ‘meh.’ Last but not least, “Tingle” where getting kinky with an Entenmann doughnut while sporting a clown suit and blasting the webcam is a novel idea!!!
