BIOGRAPHY
The Past Impending started with just a cello and guitar in the summer of 2010 but quickly evolved to include drums in the spring of 2011. The accents played by their drummer are essential to the group as are the dark rhythmic sounds of the baritone acoustic guitar. The cello adds a heart-breaking passion to the music which follows the vocals in the intense moments but then falls back to a sound of its own during the quiet lulling moments. Here with this newly acquired sound They played small venues and coffee shops during the summer and continued to hone their craft into the winter.
They have just finished putting together their first EP and are expected to finish a full length LP this summer.
