BIOGRAPHY
SICKAMORE is a hard hitting, in your face band from the Seattle region. Each member draws from their own musical background as they are able to create a unique sound all their own. The message of the music covers a wide array of issues-- Ranging from: Angst of broken relationships; Dangers of addictions that many have succumbed to & triumphed over; Political warpaths of a society on edge; Environmental concerns we all face today; Psychological myriads we navigate through at all stages of our lives-- The band relates & gives their opinions & reflections as they see fit. The group is dedicated to giving high quality, high energy shows and is looking to spread their message to the masses.
SICKAMORE's first full length album 'What Makes the Money' was released in July 2008 with much fanfare. With songs like 'Running Away', 'Apple' and 'Pollution'-- Sickamore's music is well rounded & can't be described as just punk or metal.
Recently, SICKAMORE was featured on the soundtrack for the motion movie 'Stripperband', released in March 2011. As of now, they will be in the studio to record their anticipated 2nd full length album for release in early 2012... Stay tuned, SICKAMORE is a band that will ALWAYS keep it interesting!
