BIOGRAPHY
Revived in late 2010, "BlackBeatBlue" is a 3-piece rock band; raw, grungy, and a bit moody.. with dynamics that will totally throw you off. At times it feels like space grunge meets garage band punk metal with heavy rifts beneath the tripped-out melodies to even some light piano and instrumental arrangements..Something new and refreshing, heavy and heavily dynamic.. their sound which is seriously bold when it comes to originality will definitely bring something back to Seattle in 2011~
Front-man Dave Perry "Trap" constantly delivers with his raw persona and clumsiness, spaced out guitars and distortions, unique vocals, and melodic piano/synth.
Michael Poole "Jack Hama" with his destructive nature and solid bass guitar driven metal along with thrash attitude vox.
James Capponi "The Capone" delivers heavy crushing drums to the core and screeches convincing you that your soul was already sold..
Dave Perry assembled BlackBeatBlue with many friends in the North Kitsap area throughout the year 2000 to present before it has become what it is today. From Kingston to Poulsbo, and Silverdale to Bremerton there are many great musicians and friends including:
Dave Thomas (Coldnote), Chris Goodman (7 Deadly Sins), Chris Perez & Aaron Brake (Flamable Substance), Danny Mullen (Sigmoid Argonaut), and Whitney Estes.
Dave Perry: One of the three Finalists in Seattle for "Limp Bizkit's", "Put your Guitar where your Mouth is" National Tour in 2002 along with other Seattle Finalist Amy Stolzenbach, lead guitarist of the all female AC/DC tribute band "Hell's Belles".
