In this introductory Seattle screenwriting class, open to all levels, students will learn the fundamental principles of screenwriting. We'll focus on plot and structure, formatting your script correctly, writing dialogue and action, pitching screenplays to agencies and studios, and more. What you'll learn about movie scripting in this class can transform and streamline your screenwriting in just weeks. The instructor has written and published stories, articles, stageplays and screenplays.
Writing
Fiction and Short Stories
In this popular Seattle writing class, students will learn about the elements of short story writing, and have opportunities to write some stories, share them with the group, and get feedback from the instructor and others. You'll learn about the elements of writing, including plot, characterization and dialogue, and also learn about getting published, protecting your work with a copyright, and possible ways to get your writings published. The instructor has written and published stories, articles, stageplays and screenplays.
