Writing Fiction and Short Stories
In this introductory Seattle writing class, students will learn about the elements of short story writing, and have opportunities to write some stories, share them with the group, and get feedback from the instructor and others.
You'll learn about the elements of writing, including plot, characterization and dialogue, get some practice writing short stories, and have opportunities to share them with the group and get feedback. Students will also learn about getting published, copyrighting their creative writings, and strategies for making money as a writer.
This course is sponsored by the University of Washington's ASUW Experimental College and Classesandworkshops.com, and meets in a classroom on the U.W. campus in Seattle.
