recycouture aka upcycle sewing workshops
Beginners to advanced sewers are welcome. This workshop is about taking unloved garments and linens and turning them into something new and loved (intent counts). With scissors, stitches and ideas from classmates and your instructor, you will help see the hidden potential in wardrobe castaways.
Learning to observe things as possibilities rather than as they apparently are, is a gift that opens up immense creative mind space and that is a plus in all fields.
As our species is facing an unprecedented time on this planet where more is not the answer to quality survival, creative solutions are needed.
Projects can be about bags, pillows, aprons etc, not just garments.
